In the short time that my laptop has been out of commission, I've realised just how big a part the internet is in my life. However, unlike a smoker who is going cold turkey and therefore gets the shakes, the addiction to the internet (in my case) hasn't set off any adverse side affects.
I guess what I mean to say is, while my life does revolve around pretty screens and quirky electronics, it is not dependent on it. Not one little bit. I've actually been outside! Not quite the first time in years, but as far as outings go, this was a unique experience. I got to stare at cloud shapes as they formed massive dragon heads, warlock pandas and... You get the idea.
Well, my laptop ships out tomorrow to the great beyond that is some service center or other. Lets hope it comes back in one piece. And remember, there is a particle for everything!
