We're back!

It's good to be back. After a few weeks of silence, the team is back at it. Despite some troublesome theme issues, that are almost eliminated, we have returned. There's nothing more to report on this end, so we'll leave you with some excerpts from classics, such as best selling Lorem Ipsum: "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consetetur sadipscing elitr, sed diam nonumy eirmod tempor invidunt ut labore et dolore magna aliquyam erat, sed diam voluptua. At vero eos et accusam et justo duo dolores et ea rebum. Stet clita kasd gubergren, no sea takimata sanctus est." Read More →

Another Angry Blog, Or is it?

You may have noticed our newest friend on the internet. Who is he? Is it another rant blog? Does he have balls or just another faker? To be honest, he has balls. Too much infact. So why is this blog different? Well it's the first blog on the planet not written by a human being. That's right, it's written by a chemical in humans called Testosterone. All things aside, he's an old friend and he's angry, which is good? We don't know. You be the judge, oh and some stuff, yeah may be a little NSFW. Visit the site →

Google looks towards Operating Systems

article by admin On Sunday, July 12, 2009

Nothing big in the news. Oh except for the fact Cyberdyne Google is entering the Operating System universe.

Now this is fine for most of you. In fact even I think it's awesome. They were once just a search engine. And then decided that was getting old and so moved on a few new things like: blogging platforms, calendars, online office documents, email, discussion forums hosting, a social site, 3D modelling software, RSS aggregation, RSS creation, online notebook, photo organisation software, online web storage to share said photos, website analysis service, instant messaging, online translation, code hosting, website creation and book searches, blog searches, all kinds of other searches. Just a few of the things Google decided to endeavour.

Oh but then,

They made an internet browser.

They made a mobile phone system.

And then decided to even have a hand in phone systems.

They even decided to reinvent email.

And now they have an arm in market of Operating Systems. The world of Windows, Linux, Solaris, Fluxbox, Unix. Oh and Mac.

You can obviously see where this is going.

Don't get me wrong. I'm all for Google. I have 4 Gmails. KL even uses Blogger. But there's a point where even the most cuddliest most adorable teddy bear can grow too large and scare the shit out of you.

I leave you now with not just only crude allusions to judgement day, internet religion and the super seriousness of cloud computing. But with a sketch I drew the day I heard Google had bought YouTube. What could possible voice my sentiments better?

Google aquires YouTube

Be sure to watch for the next instalment of this two part series where we discuss Google's move to acquire nuclear weapons.

Disclaimer: We are all doomed. Luckily we have the incontrovertible logic of Pascal to remind us that we must convert to every religion, just to be on the safe side.
